Guðrún Björk Bjarnadóttir has recently been appointed General Manager of STEF – The Performing Rights Society of Iceland. The Society is a non-profit collective rights management society that administers Icelandic copyright for music creators and publishers whose music is performed in public. Prior to joining STEF, Ms. Bjarnadóttir worked as an attorney for the Confederation of Icelandic Employers and for LOGOS legal services. Ms. Bjarnadottir graduated from the law faculty of the University of Iceland (Cand. jur) and completed a LL.M degree in European law from Stockholm University. Ms. Bjarnadóttir has furthermore taught law at both the University of Iceland and the University of Reykjavík.
