Silja has over 10 years of experience developing the cultural and creative sector and running large national and international development projects. She has been active in furthering the discussion between policy-makers, developers and business leaders in promoting awareness of the widening roles and possibilities of the creative economy in the society. Silja’s research interests pertain to art- and design based approaches in organizational management and leadership. She also has over seven years of experience in the music business, working as producer and engineer at Master Recording, one of the largest studios in the Helsinki area, of which she still is co-owner of.
