Thor Gunnarsson was appointed Vice President of Business Development for CCP in the fall of 2007. Prior to joining CCP, Thor served as VP Business Development and General Manager at Ideaworks3D, the BAFTA award-winning mobile game developer and middleware provider. At Ideaworks3D, he forged development partnerships with game publishers such as EA and Square Enix and technology licensing relationships with key players in the mobile software sector such as ARM and Nokia.

An industry veteran of the Internet and entertainment software sectors since 1994, Gunnarsson´s professional involvement in the software industry spans sales, marketing and product management roles in the areas of mobile entertainment, real-time 3D graphics, and networked virtual reality.

A native of Reykjavik, Thor spent his early career involved in the independent and dance music scene, variously as a DJ, radio show host, label manager, club promoter and journalist.
